We do not take debit or credit cards. Personal checks or cash welcome.
(An ATM can be found nearby at the BP Amaco on Hwy 35 if you should forget!)

What's the "list" and how do we get on it?
Traditionally, we continue to use the "first come, first serve" seating policy. On our busier nights, we use a list to help organize seating. Saturday is usually the only night we use the list. The host will start taking names by 4PM. (If you want to be included with the first seating, be sure to get to Pepin by then.)
Can I bring outside food or drinks in? Do you have a corkage fee?
No outside food or beverages.
Can I purchase a Gift Certificate if I'm not in the area?
Absolutely! It's easy and old-school.

What do you do during the off-season?
Believe it or not, we're asked this question at least once a night! The off-season allows everyone to hibernate, enjoy the holidays, be with our families and do everything we could not do during the busy summer: travel, learn a new instrument, attend classes, make soap, try new recipes, and even teach a few cooking classes!
What's the story with all the books? Is the Harbor View Café a library?
All of the books that fill the bookshelves of the restaurant are actually the previous owners personal books! They ran out of room and wall space at home. No, we're not a library; however, we have a bookstore with great books, music and other items for sale!
